100th Day of School meets Move and Groove
The 100th Day of School took place during SD83’s February Move and Groove Challenge and the Ranchero Elementary kindergarten students made the most out of both!
Teacher Catherine Auten reports it was a fun day where students did many 100’s activities in the classroom and then during their gym time they did 100’s activities while they moved and grooved! As part of their gym time the kindys had a fun 20 minutes of station rotations where they had 100 seconds to see how many of “100” things they could do in that time. This included trying to touch their toes a hundred times or dance for 100 seconds!
They high-fived their friend a 100 times and did a 100 jumping jacks. They even tried to do a 100 sit ups and bounce a ball 100 times! They tested to see how far they could walk in 100 steps and they ran on the spot for 100 seconds!
