Session for parents on Thursday
Are you the parent/guardian/caregiver of a middle or high school student in School District No. 83 (North Okanagan-Shuswap)? Did you know there are different paths and opportunities for your child on the way to graduation?
SD83’s Career Department is offering a one hour online session on Thursday, December 9 at 7 p.m. to give you information and answer your questions around the various dual credit pathways available to students in our school district. There a wide range of opportunities for students in School District No. 83 to get both post-secondary credentials and high school credit leading to graduation.
Staff from the SD83 Career Programs Team will be your guides during this session. They will cover a wide range of valuable information for parents, and will answer any questions you have.
Those wishing to attend are asked to please pre-register so a meeting link can be emailed to you.
Didn’t get a chance to pre-register? On Thursday you can still join the session by going to the SD83 Career website and the link will be posted there. A recording of the session will also be posted on the site for those who are unable to attend!
