From a young age, Brad was deeply involved with Salmon Arm Minor Hockey, where he developed a lifelong passion for sports. During middle and high school, he discovered a love for rugby, embracing the teamwork and dedication the sport demanded.
Brad was more than just an athlete – he was a friend to all. His infectious smile and laughter could light up any room, and his kind, welcoming nature made a lasting impact on those around him. Beyond sports, Brad had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, spending time fishing, hiking and exploring nature.
Criteria:
This bursary is intended to support a student pursuing post-secondary education in environmental sciences or entering a trades program. It will be awarded to a student who embodies Brad’s spirit – someone with a passion for sports, a love for the outdoors, and a positive presence in their community. Preference will be given to students with involvement in hockey or rugby, but all applicants who demonstrate sportsmanship, leadership, and community engagement are encouraged to apply.
