They are offering a scholarship for a student pursuing a career in trades as they feel financial support for students pursuing a career in trades helps to keep young people engaged in their community, grounded in authentic work, and on a path of independence.
Criteria:
- a student graduating from School District No. 83 (North Okanagan-Shuswap) who is pursuing a career in the trades
- is hardworking and of good character
- is in need of financial assistance
The donor will be part of the selection process.
