Board meeting on Tuesday
The School District No. 83 Board of Education (North Okanagan-Shuswap) will be holding the final meeting for its current Board of Trustees on Tuesday, October 18 at 6 p.m. at the District Education Support Centre (DESC).
Items on the agenda include an enrolment update, a change to the school district calendar (made necessary by the Day of Mourning for Queen Elizabeth II), the Framework for Enhancing Student Learning report, some policy items and information on the Student and Family Affordability Fund.

School trustee elections are being held on Saturday, October 15th. The inaugural meeting for the new Board of Trustees will be on Monday, November 7 at 6 p.m. with the first regular meeting of the incoming Board scheduled for Tuesday, November 15, also at 6 p.m.
