Candidates for trustee election

Elections for a School District No. 83 (North Okanagan-Shuswap) Board of Education are being held on October 15. Following are the trustee candidates which have declared their willingness to stand for office.

Trustee Electoral Area 1 – City of Armstrong/Township of Spallumcheen/CSRD Area D – Falkland, Silver Creek, Ranchero (one trustee to be elected)

Tennile Lachmuth is acclaimed.

Trustee Electoral Area 2– City of Enderby/CSRD Area E/District of Sicamous/RDNO Area F (one trustee to be elected)

Brent Gennings is acclaimed.

Trustee Electoral Area 3: CSRD Areas C, F & G (one trustee to be elected)

Corryn Grayston is acclaimed.

Trustee Electoral Area 4: City of Salmon Arm (two trustees to be elected)

There will be an election in the Salmon Arm area. Trustees candidates are Gina Johnny, Amanda Krebs, and Marianne VanBuskirk. Samantha Leins has withdrawn from the election.
