Career and Job Fair on March 11th

Are you exploring career ideas or looking for a job? WorkBC and K̓wsaltktnéws ne Secwepemcúl’ecw  School District No. 83 are hosting a Job and Career Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 11, 2025, at the SASCU Recreation Centre in Salmon Arm.

The five-hour event is geared towards all members of the public and any high school student that is looking for a summer job or investigating career pathways. Over one hundred businesses, not-for-profit agencies, and post-secondary institutions from across the District and around the province have been invited to take part in the fair.

At least one vendor from each community (Salmon Arm, Sicamous, Enderby, Armstrong, Sorrento, North Shuswap) will be offering work or guidance at the event. Students and members of the public are encouraged to prepare a resume for vendors as many exhibitors are looking to hire students for the summer. Students from Revelstoke Secondary and Chase Secondary have been invited to be part of the event as well.
