Committee of the Whole

A Committee of the Whole meeting will be taking place Thursday, May 28 at 2:30 p.m. Under discussion will be the School District No. 83 (North Okanagan Shuswap) Board of Education’s 2020/21 Preliminary Operating Budget.

With physical distancing measures and the closure of SD83 buildings to everyone but staff, the meeting will not be open to observe but will be recorded and posted on the SD83 website. The day after the meeting you will find a link posted on the SD83 website (www.sd83.bc.ca) under Board of Education (click on Board Committees and then scroll down to Committee of the Whole).

These types of meetings provide the Board of Education an opportunity to discuss an issue before bringing recommendations/motions to a regular Board of Education meeting. The next regular Board of Education meeting will be June 16 at 6 p.m.
