Find Your Fit

Posted on 2022-05-02 07:00:00 +0000 UTC

Students at Shuswap Middle School will have an exciting opportunity to explore careers as WorkBC’s Find Your Fit event will be at the school on May 5-6. Find Your Fit is a fun, interactive event that helps students discover and explore careers—from a nurse to a technologist to a carpenter —getting hands-on experience at up to 16 different stations.

Students will first visit career activity stations where they can take part in a hands-on activity related to a specific career. These activities will help students uncover their strengths and interests, giving them the knowledge they need to get started with their career planning. They’ll then move on to a labour market information station, where they can dig deeper into a career of their choice.
