Is Your Child Starting Kindergarten in September 2024?

Registration for kindergarten and the District’s two programs of choice (French Immersion or Outdoor Learning) opened January 17, 2024. If you have not yet registered we are looking forward to meeting you and welcoming your child to School District No. 83 (North Okanagan-Shuswap).

Some of our schools are facing enrolment pressures, so parents are encouraged to register their Kindergarten students as soon as possible. By registering early it also helps SD83 have more accurate enrolment projections, which helps in the planning process. Registration must be completed at your child’s catchment school, determined by your physical address, or at a specialty school such as Bastion for Early French Immersion or South Canoe for Outdoor Learning.
