J.L. Jackson is hosting the Junior Girls’ Valley basketball championships this Friday and Saturday!
Kira Limber, who co-coaches the team with her husband Keith, comments the team is very excited for the upcoming Valleys! She said the team is having a very good year with 22 wins and only two losses this season. This took them to the zone championships last weekend, where they beat Seaton 82-25 and then Vernon Secondary 62-25, to claim first.
The first game for Jackson at the Valleys will be against Okanagan-Mission on Friday at 10 a.m. If the team wins they will go on to play again at 7 p.m. that evening.
Spectators are welcome to come out and cheer on the Jays!
