Locals facilitate at Environmental Educators Conference

UPDATED: Four educators from the South Canoe Outdoor School facilitated a workshop at the Environmental Educators Provincial Specialists Association Fall Conference, held on October 21st and 22nd in Revelstoke. The conference was entitled Reconnecting Ourselves with Landscapes, Waterways, and Each Other!

Liz Willmot, Patricia Perkins, and Jenna Elidoros supported other environmental educators with their workshop, “Curriculum-Based, Inclusive Education in the Outdoors – Strategies for Success”.

Also, Ceren Caner, a leader in SD83 outdoor education, did a session on Outdoor Journalling.
