New Student Registration

Welcome to our new families! Registration for students new to the District begins on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at your neighbourhood school. For secondary school students, clerical and counsellors are available this week to assist with new registrations. Families are encouraged to call the school anytime during the week to schedule an appointment for registration and class selection. Registration details are available on our registration page: https://sd83.bc.ca/new-to-our-district.

If you are unsure where to register, enter your physical address in the School Locator tool. If you require support, please call the Transportation Department at (250) 832-9415.

To confirm if your address is serviced by a school bus, please contact the Transportation Department at (250) 832-9415. All students who will be riding the school bus must register with the Transportation Department.

To make it easier for families to stay informed, SD83 uses the Traversa MyRide K-12 app. Accessible on mobile devices and the web, this secure app is integrated with student transportation and GPS, allowing parents and students to track the bus in real-time. The app provides current pick-up and drop-off times, as well as the location of the bus stop.
