Off to Skills BC

A team of students from SD83 is off to the provincial Skills Canada finals! This event will be held on April 17 at the Tradex in Abbotsford. More than 600 competitors will compete in 58 competition areas in fields as diverse as aerospace, automotives, 3D animation, baking, welding, robotics, and much more!

Students from grades 6 – 12, as well as post-secondary students, will compete amid an audience comprised of 5,000+ middle and high school students, parents, career educators, industry leaders, technical experts, sponsors, employers, labour organizations, and government officials who all attend this annual event.
