On track to graduate?

This is the final of a seven part information series for parents and caregivers on Communicating Student Learning. This week’s article covers how parents will know if their child is on track to graduate.

Do you know what courses your child needs in order to graduate? Each June, starting in the 2023-24 school year, students in Grades 10-12 will receive a graduation status update with their final report card. The graduation status update clearly states which graduation path your child is on and gives you information about that pathway. The graduation status update will tell you and your child about the different pathways to graduation and will show your child’s progress in completing all the courses and assessments they need to graduate!
