ORIGINAL: That was a bit of storm that pushed through our area yesterday and although there are pockets of power outages only one school in SD83 is closed today, Falkland School.
Superintendent Donna Kriger closed the school for the day (Tuesday, Nov. 16) as it has been without power since 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15th and there is no estimated time of power being restored.
We are hopeful everything should be up and running, and school back in session, on Wednesday. However, please check back on our website for any further updates.
