Congratulations to Brea Duncan, a Grade 11 student at Pleasant Valley Secondary School, who recently set two new provincial and national records in para freestyle swimming events!
Brea, who qualified for the national championships in Toronto earlier this year, is currently competing in regional meets. At a recent regional meet in Vernon, she set two new Canadian records in the S6SB6SM6 800m and 1500m short course Freestyle events.
Brea will compete in Kamloops in June, followed by a busy July, where she will swim in the provincials, the BC Games, and then the national championships in Toronto.
