The preliminary results from the Oct. 15, 2022 school trustee elections are now posted on CivicInfo BC.
SD83 only had an election in one electoral area, Electoral Area 4 (Salmon Arm), where incumbents Amanda Krebs and Marianne VanBuskirk were re-elected. In the other three electoral areas, trustees were acclaimed. This includes Tennile Lachmuth (Electoral Area 1), Brent Gennings (Electoral Area 2), and Corryn Grayston (Electoral Area 3).
Congratulations to all those who took part in the election process and to the new Board of Trustees of School District No. 83 (North Okanagan-Shuswap).
