Regular Board meeting on Tuesday

Just a reminder that the regular meeting of School District No. 83 (North Okanagan-Shuswap) Board of Education will be held on Tuesday, June 20 at 6 p.m. at the District Education Support Centre (DESC) and via Teams Live Event.

Items on the agenda include the an update the first reading of the 2023-24 Annual Budget, the strategic plan, school fees, Board/Authority Authorized courses and more. For those who don’t know, Board/Authority Authorized Courses (BAA courses) respond to the local needs of the schools and their communities while providing choice and flexibility for students. BAA Courses are authorized by Boards/Authorities according to requirements set by the Ministry of Education and Child Care.
