SD83Talks Showcase

On the evening of June 12, 2024, students from grades 5 to 8 gathered to share their ideas on a host of varied topics in the 2nd annual SD83Talks Showcase, at A.L. Fortune Secondary in Enderby. The judges were impressed by the courage and poise of these curious and creative students. While the focus was on sharing ideas and encouraging participation, a winner was announced at each grade level.

The 2024 Showcase winners are:
Grade 5: Mya Cameron – The Science of Clouds
Grade 6: Alberta Konotop – The Mystery of the Bermuda Triangle
Grade 7: AJ Nair – The Importance of Financial Literacy
Grade 8: Lexi O’Reilly – The Impacts of Social Media on Youth
