South Broadview wins draw!
South Broadview Elementary was the lucky draw winner and will have the coveted “VIP” seats at the Hometown Hockey Assembly on March 6 at Shuswap Middle School.
School District 83 elementary and middle school students took part in a numeracy challenge all based around hockey! The challenge, organized by school district staff in celebration of Salmon Arm being selected as Rogers Hometown Hockey City, ran until February 7. Over 7,000 math problems were tackled and solved!
Each correct answer during the six weeks of math problems put an entry for that student’s school in a draw, which was made on February 12 at the Salmon Arm Silverbacks game.
