Staff meet

Students had a day off of school on Monday, September 17 as School District No. 83 (North Okanagan-Shuswap) staff took part in a professional day of learning.
The entire district staff came together at Salmon Arm Secondary (Sullivan). The morning began with a welcome by local Elder Gerry Thomas followed by district Indigenous drummers performing a Welcome Song. Superintendent/CEO Peter Jory then addressed the large group discussing the district’s strategic plan. After the opening presentation, staff divided out into more than 60 workshops.
