Sarah Popowich, a student at Len Wood Middle School in Armstrong, brought home some medals from the Western Canadian Rhythmic Gymnastics 2022 Championships in Calgary on April 13-16.
Sarah represented the Okanagan and BC well as she placed third in the ball competition, third in ribbons, second in hoop, and won second in the all around event!
Her mother, Giselle, commented they were proud of Sarah’s results, but even more proud of her amazing attitude throughout the whole event as she cheered for and encouraged her teammates and competitors alike!
