Competing among elite athletes, including Olympians and Paralympians from across Canada, Brea demonstrated exceptional skill and determination.

Her impressive performances earned her top 10 finishes in each event: fifth place in both the 100-metre backstroke and 100-metre breaststroke, seventh place in the 100-metre freestyle, and eighth place in the 50-metre freestyle.

To qualify for the championships, Brea competed at BC Finals in Victoria from March 6-9, 2025, where she swam in five para-events. She won gold in the 400-metre freestyle, silver in the100-metre backstroke, and bonze in the 50-metre freestyle, 100-metre breaststroke, and 100-metre freestyle. Her dedication to training included a spring break camp in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, to prepare for the Canadian championships.
