Interior Health has requested SD83’s help to raise awareness that extreme levels of fentanyl and benzodiazepines have been found in the street drugs tested in our region.
They report the drugs tested have a high risk of overdose, and a high risk of fatal overdose. They can cause long periods of sleep and drowsiness, and are likely unresponsive to Naloxone. Please be aware!
