Congratulations to the J.L. Jackson and Sullivan Track and Field teams on a great season! A special mention goes out to the J.L. Jackson Junior Boys and Girls for both winning the Zone Championship team banners. There were 32 J.L. Jackson and eight Sullivan athletes competing at the Zones on May 7, 2024, with many advancing to the Valley Championships in Kamloops on May 25, 2025.
Those who will be attending provincials in Nanaimo from June 6 to 8, 2024, from J.L. Jackson are Vienne Bredick in high jump, long jump and 400m, Aurealia Beaumont in discus throw, and from Sullivan Ellie Geisbrecht in the 400m Hurdles.
